She specializes in waterfront residential along the East Coast, Edgewater, New Smyrna Beach, Daytona, Ormond, and land acquisition across Volusia and Seminole counties. When the firm acquired LandVista (the GIS platform behind our property intelligence) in 2026, Carrie Sue ran the integration personally. A family-led firm that builds its own tools.

SRG started in 2008 when Carrie Sue Shawfield walked away from a regional brokerage that wanted her to push harder on properties she wouldn't have bought for her own family. She opened the firm on a thesis simple enough to hold up after eighteen years: brokers should know the contracts at least as well as they know the clients, and the agents who do close better deals.

The firm grew slowly and on purpose. Jennifer joined in 2014. Angela in 2017. Carsyn, Carrie Sue's daughter, passed her FL salesperson exam in 2021 and immediately built the firm's transaction-coordination practice into a model the rest of the Central FL brokerage community now studies.

In 2026, SRG acquired LandVista, the GIS-and-MLS platform that already powered our land-acquisition research. The acquisition wasn't about adding a software product; it was about owning the data spine the firm runs on. Today, every SRG transaction flows through LandVista, lead ingestion from MLS portal emails, AI extraction of contract critical dates, FL-licensee verification before referral fees post, QuickBooks-synced commission accounting. The same platform now powers our research desk and our development underwriting.
